Multi-Factor Authentication
Strong identity verification before any connection is ever established.
Blacksands Cyber requires multi-factor authentication as a gate that must be satisfied before any network connection is brokered, not after. Identity verification happens independently of the connectivity layer, consistent with the Separation of Powers Architecture, so a stolen password alone is never sufficient to reach a protected resource.
This up-front enforcement closes off the most common initial-access vector attackers rely on: credential theft and reuse. Even a valid, correctly typed password gets an attacker nowhere without also satisfying the additional identity factor tied to the legitimate user and device.
Because authentication is decoupled from the connection-brokering and policy engines, organizations can strengthen or rotate their MFA methods without re-architecting network access itself — identity, policy, and connectivity evolve independently.
